Itenerary

Day 1: Haridwar - Barkot (210 km/7-8 hr)

After dipping, or washing, in the sacred Ganga river to wash away your sins, the trek departs early in the morning from Haridwar. Proceed towards Barkot after breakfast, passing through Dehradun and Mussoorie. Visits the well-known tourist attraction Kempty Fall en way. After arriving, check into the hotel in Barkot for a night of rest, dinner and lodging.

Day 2: Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot (42 km & 5 km Trek) Each side

Travel with Bhumihar  to Janki Chatti; a knowledgeable driver will transport you there via Hanuman Chatti. To reach Yamunotri, begin your 5-kilometer hike from Janki Chatti. After performing darshan and pooja, take a holy dip in Garam Kund. Then, hike down to Janki Chatti, where you will meet bhumihars' knowledgeable driver. Drive back to Barkot and spend the night at the hotel after supper. Yamunotri: The Hindu goddess Ganga is worshipped at the Gangotri Dham temple. Here, Ganga (or Prithvi) made her initial contact with the ground.

Day 3: Barkot - Uttarkashi (120 km/4 hr)

On your way to the Vishwanath Temple, drive to Uttarkashi and settle into a hotel for the night. Uttarkashi: The town of Uttarkashi is charming and small. It is located between the Ashi and Varuna rivers. This small town bears a striking resemblance to Kashi or Varanasi, with its identical temples and ghats, as well as its north or "Uttar."

Day 04: Uttarkashi - Ganganani - Gangotri - Harsil - Uttarkashi (100 km/5 hr) round trip

After breakfast in the morning, make your way to Gangotri. Visit the Gangnani Hot Springs on route. Have a sacred bath in Kund. Later, take the picturesque Harsil valley to Gangotri by car. When you get to Gangotri, take a sacred bath in the Ganges River, also known as Bhagirathi where it originates. After completing Pooja and Darshan, take some time to unwind in the beautiful surroundings. Drive back to Uttarkashi thereafter. Spend the night at Uttarkashi. Day 5: Uttarkashi - Guptkashi - Sitapur (290 km/8-9 hr)

Day 6: Sitapur - Phata/Sirsi - Fly to Kedarnath Dham By Helicopter - Same Day Return & Stay in Sitapur
